Introducing a revolution in down hole directional technology.

After a decade of development Javins Corporation is unveiling a new way of directional drilling that is dramatically faster and more cost effective that most traditional methods. Currently the most common way to complete a directional wellbore uses a combination of hammer drilling to a kickoff point then going directional and hitting the target using a PDM air motor, using a multitude of navigation and orientation devices. Javins Corporation has designed a unique percussion air drilling hammer that also performs the function of a down hole motor. The Javins Directional Drilling Hammer (DDH) has the ability to drill hard formations at high penetration rates without the need to rotate the drill string. Full steerability is maintained during both sliding and rotary modes to build angle or straight ahead with the same bottom hole assembly. The Javins DDH has an integrated force-balancing system to minimize the effects of down-hole drag and to minimize wear and tear on drilling rig components. Javins Corporation has developed and refined the first Directional Drilling Hammer (DDH). This tool drills three to ten times faster than any current PDM drilling tool.
With more than 30 years experience, Javins Corporation remains one of the most experienced and respected names in directionally drilling in the Appalachian basin. We deliver the response and attention your company demands. Our skill and technology will reduce your overall expense and yield higher results. Please consider our new Directional Drilling Hammer Service when planning your next directional wellbore. You will see the Javins Corporation advantage in your bottom line.
Below is a short video of a surface test. Notice the drill string does not require rotation during hammer operation. The rig being used is a IR T4W, using only onboard air-compressors.
